Shonda Rhimes Celebrates Baby Shower
Shonda Rhimes celebrated the adoption of daughter Emerson Pearl with a baby shower, held Saturday at her California home.
“I was so excited to invite over all my friends to celebrate the happiness and joy that baby Emerson has brought to both her sister Harper and me,” the Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal creator tells PEOPLE. “Everyone had a great time — good food, good friends and lots of kids running around!”
Friends like Grey’s stars Sarah Drew and Chandra Wilson enjoyed food and drink from Paleta, KARMA Champagne, Sweet E’s Bakeshop and Sweet Lucie’s, as well as manicures by Keeki Pure and Simple. Floral arrangements were by The Bashful Rose, and guests checked out Good Carma Studio‘s baby shower lounge, sponsored by Stella & Dot, where they received favors by Mabel’s Labels, Itzy Ritzy, Crunchies, Strut This, USANA, M.O.M. (Mom Operating Manual), Gotta Have It Boutique, Joovy, Magic Bullet, Kashwére and Naughty Betty.
