Lifetime is going into business with the family of the late Whitney Houston. The female-focused cable network has ordered 10 hourlong episodes of The Houston Family Chronicles, a docuseries revolving around the lives of Houston’s family.
Among those set to be featured in the series, which will launch later this year, are Houston’s mother, Cissy Houston, daughter Bobbi Kristina, sister-in-law and manager, Pat Houston, seen below, and her daughter Rayah.
Pat Houston said that over the past few years she had been developing a project about her and her family with producers Tracey Baker Simmons and Wanda Shelley. “The unexpected passing of Whitney certainly affects the direction of the show,” she said. “However, it is my hope that others will be enlightened as they watch our family heal and move forward.” What do you think?
