Louisiana rapper Torrence “Lil Boosie” Hatch, who is currently serving eight years in prison for drug related charges, was found not guilty in his murder trial. The “Wipe Me Down” rapper was facing life in prison for ordering the murder of 35-year-old Terry Boyd.
During the six-day trial prosecutors called 27 witnesses to the stand, but the defense rested their case without calling a single person to testify on Boosie’s behalf. Evidently the lawyer had a magic 8 Ball because the jury only deliberated for 90 minutes before acquitting Boosie.
