Mindless Behavior, ASAP Rocky, Big Sean, Astro Kid, Diggy Simmons, Melanie Fiona and human alarm clock DJ Khaled joined Stephen Hill, President of Music Programming and Specials, in delivering nominations for the BET Awards 12 at a press conference today.
Billed as being “Too Big To Miss,” the award show will broadcast July 1 live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles with Samuel L. Jackson set to host. So far, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj are confirmed to perform at the show. In addition, the BET Awards will present Maze featuring Frankie Beverly with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Leading the pack with seven nominations is Kanye West followed by Queen Creole with six, while purse watcher Jay-Z received five noms. Read the complete list of nominations and sound off below.
