Yo Gotti is at the center of a copyright infringement lawsuit over his “28 Bars” track, reports. According to our source the “Real Ni**as” rapper was slapped with the suit, Wednesday (June 6) filed by Eric Dion Flemming, in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, Nashville Division.

Flemming asserts that he submitted the beat to Gotti, for an artist signed to the rapper’s Inevitable Entertainment label. Gotti kept the beat for himself, and allegedly never denied using the track without permission.

The song, released in  2010 was sold on various sites including iTunesRhapsody and Amazon.

Gotti’s manager, Brandon Contrell, and director of the song’s music video, Jordan Tower, have also been named in the suit. Flemming is seeking a jury-trial.
