An Arkansas man was found shot in the head, while handcuffed BEHIND HIS BACK, in the back of a police car. The cops claim he shot himself….
Somebody is going to have to explain to me how you can shoot yourself in the HEAD, while handcuffed behind your back. 21-year-old Chavis Carter of Jonesboro, Arkansas has lost his life, and his mother wants answers.
Carter was initially apprehended when an officer found marijuana in his car, ran his info, and realized he had a warrant in Mississippi.
“As protocol, he was handcuffed behind his back, double-locked and searched,” said Jonesboro Police Department Sgt. Lyle Waterworth in an interview with WREG-TV.
Just minutes later, police said they heard a thumping noise, turned around and found Carter shot in the head.
Waterworth said he thinks Carter pulled out a hidden gun and shot himself. “Any given officer has missed something on a search, you know, be it drugs, be it knives, be it razor blades,” he said. “This instance, it happened to be a gun.”
You believe that….?
Chavis’ mother Teresa Carter definitely doesn’t. ”I think they killed him,” she said. “My son wasn’t suicidal.” Also, Carter was shot in his right temple, although he was left-handed.
Carter went on to say “I mean, I just want to know what really happened.”
The two officers who were present when Carter was shot are on administrative leave.
I’m lilD, and that’s the Word Eye Heard. This has to stop…
