Are the VMAs trying to take a page out of The Source Awards?
The popular MTV awards show will be the backdrop for something epic, as Drake, Rihanna and Chris Brown will all be present in the same room for the first time since the June bottle-throwing bar brawl between the guys at W.i.P. in New York City.
A source tells US magazine that a fight would mean huge ratings for MTV:
“Notice Drake and Chris are both up for Best Male Video,” adds the source. “They are hoping a fight breaks out,” the source says. “Ratings galore!”
To make matters worse, Rihanna is featured on Drake’s “Take Care,” which means all three of them are up for the same category.
This wouldn’t be the first time the Drizzy and Breezy are face-to-face since the fight (which was allegedly over the guys’ ties to RiRi), but also the first time Chris and Rihanna will be in a public sight since RiRi’s Oprah interview, wherein she admitted she still loved Chris. This is going to be good.
Let’s hope MTV does something to make sure no fights or violence happens. We all know how easy it is to walk on stage at the VMAs – just ask Kanye West, Lil Mama and Taylor Swift.
The show airs September 6th at 8pm on MTV. (SOURCE)
