Over the weekend, fellow G.O.O.D. Music member Q-Tip hinted at a follow-up.

After struggling to explain why he didn’t appear on CS, Tip, who was flanked by his G.O.O.D. cohort Pusha T, just spilled the beans. “I know, I know, I’m sorry about that but I have to let the cat out of the bag. Kanye’s probably gonna get…,” the former A Tribe Called Quest frontman said before stopping mid-sentence to call over Pusha T to help him with the big news. “If there’s aCruel Summer then there’s got to be a Cruel Winter right?” Q-Tip said, alluding that the G.O.O.D. crew will be following up with another album soon. “That’s all I’m saying.” (MTV)

Around its release, G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T proclaimed it one of the best compilation albums in ages.

In the days immediately following the album’s release, more than a few reviews continue to nitpick at Kanye’s work on Cruel Summer, accusing him of giving it a half effort, but Pusha is clear about his thoughts on the project. “I definitely feel like Cruel Summer lives up to the hype,” he says. “I definitely feel like Cruel Summer is the best compilation album of all crews to drop compilation albums. The music level is totally the upper echelon of hip-hop music.” (MTV)

In week one, the star-studded LP pushed over 200,000 copies.
