“Two Eleven” R&B singer/actress Brandyperformed for the first time at “Black Girls Rock“ Saturday.
Gracing the stage with music from her anticipated “Put It Down” and “Wildest Dreams” led album, Brandy shared the same stage as fellow talents Keyshia Cole, Alicia Keys, Ciara, Missy Elliott and India Arie.
Hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King, “Black Girls Rock 2012” was taped at the Paradise Theater in New York City.
“Basketball Wives LA” star Laura Govan, Mona Scott Young, Dionne Warwick, Debra Lee, Anthony Hamilton, Luke James, Eric Benet, Kerry Washington and more were also in attendance.
Alicia Keys, Dionne Warwick and Kerry Washington were also honored with awards for their contributions over the years.
Celebrating and empowering women of all ages, “Black Girls Rock” will be airing on BETSunday, November 4.
