Kelly Rowland has signed on for the latest iteration of VH1’s Divas. The event, airing live on December 16 (9PM EST), will honor two well-known divas—Whitney Houston and Donna Summers.
“Can’t wait to perform at @VH1 Divas 2012!” tweeted K-Row announcing the news. She last appeared on the program in 2000 with Destiny’s Child.
“This is going to be one hell of a party! We are extremely thrilled to have the extraordinarily talented Adam Lambert as our 2012 VH1 Divas host,” saysLee Rolontz, EVP, Original Music Production and Development, VH1 and VH1 Classic.
“The world has truly been inspired by dance music and what better way for VH1 to pay tribute than by honoring legends Whitney Houston and Donna Summer through song and dance.”
Others featured at the event include Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Jordin Sparks.
