Just because you’re a thief, it doesn’t mean that you’re moral compass is completely broken, which may be why a Connecticut man stole a delivery car only to finish the job of dropping off food items.

Keith Hinds was charged with larceny Friday (Nov. 9) for jacking the vehicle from a driver working for the Black Bamboo Chinese restaurant.

The delivery driver’s first mistake was leaving the car running outside while he ran to make a drop-off to a local school. By the time he made it back outside, the car was taken by Hinds.

After calling the police, the driver phoned his boss, and was surprised to find that his route had been completed, courtesy of the criminal with a heart of gold. “That’s when it clicked to me that somebody was making delivered with my car,” the driver said. “At first I thought it was a practical joke, then it turned out it was real.

Police busted Hinds just as he was wrapping up his next drop-off. In addition to the larceny charge, the 45-year-old was picked up for possession of less than a half an ounce of weed, possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as other drug charges.

Hinds was being held on $5,000 bond, in lieu  of a court appearance yesterday. [SOURCE]
