I saw this one coming…but I must say, their “Harlem Shake” wasn’t half bad *Shrug*

Details | BlackMediaScoop

The Harlem Shake went down under. And it didn’t end well for a group of Australian gold miners who were sacked for taking the dance craze underground.

Up to 15 workers at the Agnew Gold Mine were fired after their dirty, sweaty version of the Harlem Shake was posted online and went viral.

Mine owner Barminco fired the men, who all earn six-figure salaries, for breaching its “core values of safety, integrity and excellence”.

They’ve also been blacklisted from working at any Barminco sites across the world. The workers said they think their bosses were being heavy-handed with the punishment.

One of the men told The Western Australian newspaper that bosses had been “heavy-handed” and that they were “simply having a bit of fun”.

The video, shot in an underground vault surrounded by heavy machinery, starts with one man dancing alone. DJ Baauer’s bassline then kicks in and all hell breaks loose – with one miner doing the “caterpillar” dance move in a puddle.

What a shame!
