Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart is like a breathe of fresh air. Hate on her if you want but the happy-go-lucky, carefree wife of NFL baller Kordell Stewart is paving the way for Black trophy wives everywhere.

Now don’t get us wrong, we love all of the other hardworking and self-made women on RHOA. But it’s just something refreshing about seeing a young woman of color who is the apple of her husband’s eye and who is put on a pedestal everyday.

In a recent interview with ABC News Radio, Porsha said she embraces the term trophy wife and enjoys every minute of her fabulous life.

“Being a trophy wife per se is not just about your outer looks. It’s about the man who has put you on the pedestal and him admiring you and thinking well enough of you to put you up there,” she said. “I think it’s important for our little girls to know that they can be a princesses and they can have it all…So I feel proud to represent — and I use the word lightly — the black trophy wife.”

Along with being a wife and stepmom to Kordell’s 9-year-old son Syre, Porsha said she would really love to have her own bundle of joy soon.

“When you’re trying to have a baby the best thing to do is to just not concentrate on it, just let it happen,” she said.

Judging from the latest episode of Housewives, Kordell doesn’t seem to believe Porsha can juggle her domestic duties, career and motherhood all at once. However, we have faith that out favorite trophy wife can have it all.

We’re not mad at you, Porsha!
