/Plaxico Burress just signed a one-year contract for a minimum of $925,000 with the Pittsburgh Steelers this month, but he might have a hard time getting to practice because his license has been officially suspended.

The football player (wide receiver) failed to pay a six-figure judgment after a woman successfully sued him for what she says, caused a car crash that injured her.

He was ordered to pay $125,000.

Possibly in defiance and unwilling to settle for the judgment (which he attempted to appeal), he didn’t pay. As a result, the victim’s lawyer told the Florida DMV to take his driving privileges away.

Plaxico also just settled his hefty $98,064.78 debt with the IRS. So he could be just holding his head above water until that Pittsburgh money comes in.
