Hepatitis A scare at NYC restaurant prompts 239 to get vaccinated
A West Village restaurant will continue to offer free Hepatitis A vaccinations after a recent health scare.
Officials believe anyone who ate at Alta Tapas between March 23 and April 2 could have been exposed.
An employee who worked with desserts is infected, so anyone who ordered dessert is advised to get the shot as a precaution.
As of Friday, the Department of Health said no customers had been infected.
