NY Knicks’ JR Smith Ordered to Pay for Black Jesus Chain
You’re rich, but you won’t pay for your jewelry? Knicks’ JR Smith just lost a lawsuit that will cost him $48,000 for Black Jesus.
Lemmerman’s, a jewelry company, sued Smith, for jewelry he ordered in 2010, “including a diamond chain, two Black Jesus pendants and some earrings — totaling $25,500 … but never paid.”
One of the Jesus pieces cost $15,000.
Does Jesus have dreads? I guess that’s hair of wool, huh?
Lemmerman’s sued for $48,101 — the jewelry bill plus interest, and attorney’s fees. JR Smith never responded to the lawsuit, so the judge ruled in the company’s favor.
I’m lilD, and that’s the Word Eye Heard. Should’ve just spent $17 on Game’s Jesus Piece album.
