Jaden Smith, who turns 15 in July, already knows what he wants for his birthday – and that’s freedom from his parents Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.
“He says, ‘Dad, I want to be emancipated,” Will Smith told The Sun this week. “I know if we do this, he can be an emancipated minor, because he really wants to have his own place.
“That’s the backlash. On the other side, if kids just want to have command of their lives, I understand.”
Jaden, who may be dating Kylie Jenner, stars this summer opposite his father in “After Earth,” in theaters May 31st.
