Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Joseline hopes the show will not only provide a platform for her as a recording artist, but allow her to be seen as a role model for young women.

Speaking out following the heavily watched premiere Monday, Joseline wants more focus to be put on her music and not what she might be doing wrong on the show.

“I believe and know everyone is going to love my music. I put in a lot of work and I’ve had a lot of struggles. I’m really showing people how much of the struggle I’ve had. I’m not just a beautiful face and a beautiful body, it’s more than that,” says Joseline. “I know people are going to love the music, that’s what I’m doing the show for. I know people are going to want to work with me.”

With the words “not being cocky,” Joseline is confident she can be a role model for young girls.

“I’m talented, I’m beautiful, I’m young, I’m striving, I’m ready to work, I’m ready to be a role model for the young girls,” she tells the Los Angeles Times. “Why wouldn’t they want to work with me? Not being cocky, just being confident in my work and what I do.”

As seen on Monday’s premiere, Joseline showcased some of her talent with manager/producer Stevie J. More of her music will be played later on in the season with a single and album to come.
