How many people are in the A$AP Mob? A$AP Mob, the rap crew led by A$AP Rocky, has eight members, according to Complex. In addition to A$AP Rocky, the Harlem MC who’s earned the most attention, there’s A$AP Yams, A$AP Bari, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Ty Beats, A$AP Nast, A$AP Twelvy and A$AP Ant, though the Village Voice also listed J. Scott in a 2012 piece introducing the crew, and the Wikipedia page also cites him as a member. That would mean A$AP Mob has nine members.

The question, “How many people are in A$AP Mob?” is complicated, but we know some things for sure. The hip-hop collective was founded by A$AP Yams— who alongside Rocky owns A$AP Worldwide—A$AP Bari, and A$AP Illz. Yams said so in the Voice story. Also, we know the NYC posse is about the drop its debut album, and in July 2013, A$AP Ferg said the record would hit stores after his own “Trap Lord” LP. “We got the A$AP Mob album coming out,” he said, according to XXL. “We’re going to drop it with my tape as a pre-order. The album’s supposed to drop after Trap Lord drops, and then you should expect more visuals and singles from other members.”

After the album drops, the question of how many people are in A$AP Mob might be easier to answer, as the rappers will presumably be listed in the liner notes. But maybe not. Joking about how hard it is to answer the question, “How many people are in A$AP Mob,” allhiphop.com reported in March 2013 that A$AP Rocky had invited actor Shia LeBeouf to join the gang. Would that bring the total number of rappers in A$AP Mob to nine or 10? Don’t ask allhiphop.com. “I admit, I cannot keep up with all the names,” writes illseed. “Anyway, I heard that they bonded with actor Shia LeBeouf and he’s in the crew…maybe.”
