Kanye West has literally commissioned a Warhol to paint the official portrait of his fiancée, Kim Kardashian.
The rapper has tapped Andy Warhol’s cousin, Monica Warhol, for the job, the New York Post reports. Monica is an artist who lives and works in Tucson, Ariz. and has painted the likes of Flo Rida.
Like the late Andy Warhol, she makes silk screen portraits from photos.
“She’s an icon. She’s famous for nothing. Andy would have loved her,” Monica Warhol told the Post of Kim. “Kim is beautiful. She’s so manufactured. She looks like a human Barbie.
