Steve Sanders played football for East high’s historic Blue Bombers and graduated from their Academy of Finance. He continued his education and athletic career at Bowling Green State University where he finished with impressive stats of 156 receptions for 2,324 yards and 24 touchdowns. More importantly, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Sanders played for his hometown, the Cleveland Browns, from 2006- 2008 and other teams but stepped away from his childhood dream to commit his life to directly impacting young people. At age 28, he opened The Steve Sanders Academy, a community school in his old neighborhood and recently launched Training Camp For Life, a motivational speaking platform and nonprofit organization created to inspire, develop and empower young male athletes in all aspects of sports and life.

His new book “Training Camp For Life – Developing Champions In sports and In Life” is set to release November 2013. Sanders will begin the Training Camp For Life Book Tour in January 2014.
