Michael Jackson Fans Suing Conrad Murray For Emotional Distress

According to the BBC, five fans in France sued Conrad Murray, the doctor who administered a lethal dose of anesthesia to their favorite pop star, have been awarded a small sum for the trauma they suffered following MJ’s death four years ago.
How small a sum you ask? Each of the fans were awarded one euro or roughly $1.36.
Their lawyer, Emmanuel Ludot said the damages were
“symbolic”
and that these five fans had proven their suffering
“with the help of witness statements and medical certificates.”
