cecillipscombCecil Lipscomb assumed the role of Executive Director of The United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland, Inc. (UBF) in 2011. UBF, one of Cleveland’s leading grant funders, is a 501 © (3) charitable organization that provides financial (grants) and technical support to neighborhood based organization offering a full range of health and human service programs for the residents of Cleveland’s African American and lower income communities.

He serves as adjunct faculty at Ursuline College where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in leadership theory, management, and marketing. He is also a board member for the Center for community Solutions. Previously, Lipscomb was senior director of Institutes at Cleveland clinic and a director of Fundraising for Case Western Reserve University’s School of Engineering. He also worked in the telecommunications sector for 10 years with two Fortune 100 companies. Lipscomb received an undergraduate degree from Ursuline College, a master’s from Weatherhead School of Management, and certificate of nonprofit management from Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations at case Western Reserve University.
