Roberto Robinson is the Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Ohio. The Northern District is comprised of Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown, and Toledo. Robinson is originally from Brooklyn, New York and began his career with the U.S. Marshals Service in 1997 as an intern, and then a Centralized Student Career Experience Program Student. Robinson graduated, magna cum laude, from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1998 with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice. Robinson also graduated from the U.S. Marshals Academy in 1998 and since then has held the ranks of Deputy U.S. Marshal, Inspector, Senior Inspector, Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal, Assistant Chief Deputy, and Chief Deputy.

Robinson worked in Washington D.C., New York, Florida, and Michigan. He is a member of several law enforcement organizations including the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, which he is a Life Member. He is also a Life Member of Iota Phy Theta Fraternity Incorporated, and sits on many committees with the Beta Lambda Omega Cleveland Alumni chapter. Robinson is the youngest Chief Deputy Marshal in the country.
