Comedian and actor Mike Epps has succumbed to the dark side. In the new thriller “Repentance” he plays Ben, a down on his luck ex-con with a chip on his leather clad shoulders. Ben’s brother Tommy (played by Anthony Mackie) has the ideal life as an award-winning author and life coach who is married to a beautiful yoga instructor, Maggie (played by Sanaa Lathan.)
Ben and Tommy are bound by more than just the blood they share and the secret they have been covering up for years may kill them both.

In this interview with TheUrbanDaily.com Epps talks about taking on another nefarious role (he was an abusive stand-up in 2012′s “Sparkle” ) and what it’s like being these troubled men after playing the fool on screen for so long.
