Viewers will be able to see Kandi, Todd and Mama Joyce’s interactions when Kandi’s wedding special airs. They’ll also get to see what Kandi calls “the best wedding ever.
“We had 300 people there… It was awesome,” said Kandi. “We had Doug E. Fresh. We had Bell Biv DeVoe perform. The reception was awesome.”
According to Kandi, the bachelorette party was pretty memorable, too, thanks, in part, to bridesmaid/”RHOA” co-star Phaedra Parks.
“Phaedra, she outdid herself this time. She’s always one to turn up the party. She brought some very unique strippers this time. She didn’t do the norm. We have male strippers for everything. This time, she went totally left. She made it fun. She had a little person come and do something. She had an old lady. It was just out of the box.”
Kandi confirmed that her “RHOA” co-stars Porsha and Cynthia Bailey attended the wedding, along with former cast mate Sheree Whitfield. However, Kim Zolciak, Kenya and NeNe Leakes didn’t show up.
NeNe was taping “Dancing with the Stars” at the time, and Kenya was filming “Celebrity Apprentice,” though both were invited to Kandi’s wedding.
Though they weren’t able to help her celebrate her big day, Kandi hopes all the women will be back for “RHOA” season 7.
“I feel like everybody on our cast was great this year s far as storylines. I want to see everybody go to the next season,” she said.
