Black women are winning on the newsstands this week! A day after Lupita Nyong’o was named People magazine’s Most Beautiful Person of 2014, TIME magazine crowned Beyoncé to lead their annual “100 Most Influential People In The World” list that’s recognizes artists, leaders, pioneers, titans and icons.

Last year the singer was recognized as an “Icon,” while her hubby Jay Z topped the list as a “Titan” with his own cover, but not surprisingly 2014 belongs to Queen Bey.  The magazine honors its list of power players with tributes written by high-profile guest contributors. Facebook COO and “Lean In” author Sheryl Sandberg did the honors for Beyonce calling her a “boss” while citing recent accomplishments like the chart busting, top selling 2013 self titled album that music giant notably released only on iTunes as well as the sold-out Mrs. Carter world tour, all of which she did, Sandberg notes, as a mother of 2-year-old Blue Ivy.  Was there ever any doubt that Bey was running things!?
