‘Boondocks’ breaks ratings record
The season 4 premiere of “The Boondocks” set a new standard for Adult Swim. According to Shadow and Act, 1.4 million viewers in the 18-34 audience segment tuned in on the first airing, making “The Boondocks” season 4 debut the most-watched show on Adult Swim in five years.
“The Boondocks” did so well last Monday that it even beat out “The Voice” on NBC and the NBA Playoffs on TNT. A new episode of the cartoon, featuring Huey Freeman and his hilarious family, airs tonight at 10:30 p.m. EST on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.
