columbus-short-divorceActor Columbus Short doesn’t seem to be taking his legal issues regarding his wife too seriously. According to his estranged wife Tanee McCall-Short, the former “Scandal” star has violated the temporary order of protection more than six times since it went into effect.

McCall-Short’s attorney was in court earlier in the week claiming the actor has routinely disregarded the temporary restraining order by contacting Tanee McCall-Short on six separate occasions. While Columbus Short has continued to violate the restraining order, McCall-Short’s lawyer didn’t ask for the actor to be held in contempt of court. Her attorney only asked for the temporary restraining order to be made permanent. The judge is deciding on how to handle the matter but he did extend the restraining order to July 30th.

Columbus Short and his wife’s divorce became a public spectacle when she alleged he pulled a knife on her and threatened to end their lives in a murder/suicide. Tanee McCall-Short also accused her estranged husband of breaking in to their home and destroying the place after he was barred from the residence.
