‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ canceled
CBS has changed its mind about “The Arsenio Hall Show.” According to The Los Angeles Times, CBS Television Distribution has decided to cancel Arsenio’s late night chat show, which it had originally renewed.
“Unfortunately, ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ will not return for a second season,” the company explained in a statement. “While there are many loyal fans of the show, the series did not grow its audience enough to continue. Arsenio is a tremendous talent and we’d like to thank him for all the hard work and energy he put into the show.”
Although he’s disappointed that the show has been axed, Arsenio didn’t seem totally surprised.
“When I started this adventure with CTD and Tribute, we all knew it would be a challenge–I’m gratified for the year we’ve had and proud of the show we created,” Arsenio said in a statement. “I’d like to thank everyone on my staff for rallying around me and striving to make the best show possible each night.”

V. Stiviano attacked after bashing Black people
V.Stiviano’s camp is claiming that she was assaulted during a night out in New York.
TMZ.com reports that two men attacked Donald Sterling’s ex-girlfriend on Sunday night after dinner at the Gansevoort Hotel with her sister and some friends. Her lawyer claims that the men rushed V as she was leaving dinner and punched her in the face while shouting racial slurs.
However, authorities state that cops were never called about the attack and no police report was filed about the incident at the time. TMZ.com reports that V plans to file a report this week.
This comes after video of V bashing Black people and hip-hop culture was leaked online. The sentiments she expressed in the clips below could give the public a little more insight into her thought process about race and why she and the former owner of the Los Angeles Clippers got along.

Justin Bieber apologizes for racist jokes
Justin Bieber is apologizing for some off color remarks he made years ago. Over the weekend, TMZ.com released video of a then-15-year-old Justin proudly cracking racist jokes. Despite the advice of one friend telling him to stop, Justin said “Run n*gga, n*gga, n*gga, n*gga” while imitating the sound of a chain saw.
On Sunday, Justin’s camp went into damage control mode as the “Beauty and a Beat” singer spoke out on the video.
“As a young man, I didn’t understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt,” Justin said in a statement. “I thought it was okayĀ to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn’t realize at the time that it wasn’t funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance.”
Justin, 20, was discovered by Usher and he has quite a few Black people in his entourage. He has also been part of a team that walked Floyd Mayweather into the ring before one of his fights. As such, Justin immediately pointed to his associations as evidence that he isn’t racist while apologizing for his remarks.
“I take my friendships with people of all cultures very seriously and I apologize for offending or hurting anyone with my childish and inexcusable mistake,” Justin stated. “I was a kid then and I am a man now who knows my responsibility to the world and to not make that mistake again.”
