Kanye West doesn’t know how to do anything the typical way. After being charged with assaulting a paparazzi the quixotic rapper, producer and fashion maven was sentenced to two years of informal probation (he doesn’t have to report to a probation officer) and  250 hours of community service.  However, don’t expect to see Yeezy digging ditches on the side of the road or picking up garbage.

According to TMZ, Yeezus has been fulfilling his community service obligation by speaking to students at L.A. Trade Technical College about fashion. In fact he has appeared at the school on six different occasions and gave one lecture on designers that lasted three hours. Here is a photo snapped by one of the students on Instagram:

Last November West was spotted speaking to design students at Harvard before a Yeezus tour stop in Boston.

“I do believe the world can be saved through design. Everything has to be architected,” he said after inviting them all to his show. “The first DONDA employees were architects who started designing t-shirts instead of buildings. If I sit down and talk to Oprah for two hours the conversation is about self-realization and actually seeing your creativity happen in front of you…”

There is no word if the students were required to provide Kanye with any croissants for his trouble.
