According to our good friends over at Eben Gregory, T.I. did have more to say about Floyd Mayweather’s little outburst concerning his wife over the weekend.
As we previously reported, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. took it to the next level at a recent press event when he made a comment that sound like he was bragging about having sex with T.I.‘s wife Tiny.
Take a look at the video below to see what we’re talking about.
Everyone thought they heard him say,
“I was f***ing his bit*h.”
Mayweather came back hours later on Instagram and insisted that we all heard him wrong. See what he had to say in the post below.
When asked about it T.I. gave a statement that we found odd…because it was very laid back. In fact it was too laid back for it to have come from Tip! He simply said,
“I hope he is enjoying himself. God bless him.”
Upon hearing that statement we said that Floyd better not open the door to any strangers because we thought that couldn’t possibly be the whole story! We knew there had to be me more to it! And there was!
Eben Gregory reports that T.I. had more to say. In fact T.I. had a whole lot more to say and he said it to a crowd at his Detroit concert! (And yes the show was sanctioned by the “No Fly Zone” folks in Detroit! But we digress!)
T.I. reportedly said to the crowd,
”If I said some sh*t and when a mutha fuc*a check me about it… I’m not gonna back down off my word cause I’m a real nigga.”
Then he had the DJ play his song Stand Up four…times… in.. a…row! Yes kids…he wanted to make sure there was no room for error as it pertained to the message he was trying to get across! Message Received!
If you are not familiar with the song stand up or it’s lyrics please allow us to enlighten you!
Here are but a few of the lyrics from Stand Up,
“You got an alligator mouth and a hummingbird ass/Your mouth writing checks that your ass can’t cash/145 and I’m out of your weight class/Want to survive, you better scramble like eggs and break fast/Cause I know how to handle your fake ass /I’m a ride on you and hide you in yesterday’s trash/Pull up in the Chevys spraying rounds through the glass/See you laying face down in the grass and I’ll laugh.”
So yeah….there’s that!
He had a little something extra that he needed to get off his chest. We can assume that playing that particular song four times in a row got his point across right? And as for what he said about checking someone and them standing by their word…could this be why Floyd said he didn’t say what we thought he said? Hmmm…we don’t know…could be!
