Eyewitnesses are reporting that Kayne West had a health scare in Australia yesterday. Woman’s Day reported the rapper was rushed to Melbourne’s Epworth Hospital in Richmond for an emergency MRI. He had one side of his face covered, and was brought in through the back door while surrounded by security.
The 37-year-old G.O.O.D Music leader was given an emergency MRI with the suspicion was that he suffered a seizure or was on the verge of being seized. According to TMZ.com was suffering from “intense” migraines and not a seizure.
Nurses were ordered to clear patients out of the waiting room and consulting room, as West was privately treated.
“We were the only ones left apart from doctors and nurses—we couldn’t leave as the MRI wasn’t finished,” the eyewitness told Woman’s Day.
Kanye, who is currently in Australia for the current leg of his “Yeezus” tour, was eventually released and performed later in the day. His reps and the hospital have not given a comment on the incident as of yet.
