ELYRIA, OH (WOIO is reporting) –
Drugs appeared to be a family business in Lorain County. Police arrested 30 relatives accused of running a major trafficking ring.
“This family and this organization has been around for decades in Elyria, so we used probably a decade’s worth of intelligence and information to develop the case,” said Sgt. Jim Welsh with Elyria Police.
They’ve been titled the Burns, Milton and Tillman cocaine trafficking organization, all busted by a team of investigators from the Lorain Police Narcotics Bureau, Lorain County Sheriff’s Drug Task Force and Elyria Police Narcotics Unit.
