It’s no secret, Cissy Houston is not here for Bobby Brown. This we know from countless side eyes and blatant shade bombs. And this time is no different. The Houston matriarch made it clear, in an interview on Entertainment Tonight, that Bobby Brown and the industry were the causes of her daughter Whitney Houston’s demise.
“This business is really bad, you know what I’m saying?” she explained. “But she did the best she could.” Houston then added, “My baby tried. She did. She just had the wrong partner, you know?”Houston also gave an update on Bobbi Kristina’s condition. “She’s the same; she’s not progressing at all.”
She added, “She’s not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I’m ready for her… I have nothing to do with that. That’s His job. It’s His territory, you know? And I understand it.”
