This latest series from New Balance claims its rightful place in sneaker culture by calling itself a classic so that we don’t have to. It’s about time the running shoe owned up to its stature and with a colorway that is very befitting of the title.
The New Balance M998 is given the revered title and for this iteration, it features a dusty tan suede build with hits of teal mesh as a complement. Red and white join in the mix as well and a pair of laces with all of the aforementioned colors woven in really ties things together. The finishing touch however are the hits of 3M that we’ve all come to expect from a New Balance release and this time they are on the heel and lace plate of each shoe.
These can be yours today for $160 if you roll over to Sneaker Politics before they run out. They’re in stock right now but who knows how long they’ll be there.
