Shad “Bow Wow” Moss has been very open about wanting to have a baby with fiancée Erica Mena, and now we’ve learned that their wish nearly came true not too long ago.
Sadly, Erica took to Instagram today to reveal that she suffered a miscarriage when she was just four months pregnant with Shad’s child. Sharing the news in a heartfelt poem, the former Love & Hip-Hop star wrote, in part:
“So quickly you came into my life, so quickly torn away. Never got the chance to meet you, there’s so much I want to say.”
Erica, 27, then tweeted about why she felt the need to speak about the couple’s tragic loss:

In July, Shad wrote it was “baby season” on his Facebook page, before raving about Erica Mena, who he says is “the best thing to happen” to him. Hopefully, the fun and beautiful duo are given a second chance at adding to their family. Read Erica’s message in its entirety above.
