Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown is out of the NFL’s concussion protocol and will start Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
The Browns announced Wednesday morning that McCown has been cleared to return, naming him their Week 3 starter over Johnny Manziel.
McCown, who will return to practice Wednesday, suffered a concussion in the first quarter of Cleveland’s season-opening loss to the Jets and missed last week’s victory over the Titans.
