Rihanna’s highly anticipated eighth studio album ANTI is set to be released this week. And to get the anticipation brewing even more, she’s just released the lead single: “Work” feat. Drake on TIDAL.
The island-tinged cut is made for radio and has similar vibes to “What’s My Name?,” her earlier collaboration with Drizzy.
Earlier this month, a preview of a Rihanna and Drake collaboration titled “Work” surfaced online, along with several behind the scenes photos of the alleged music video.
Citing sources, Billboard reports that the album will be available this week, “likely as a surprise release before Friday.”
Regarding the sound itself, one source says, “The album is more diverse than her prior releases, with a wide array of styles that move the overall product away from ‘BBHMM’ territory.”
Until Rih blesses us with ANTI, which could be any time, stream “Work” on TIDAL, iTunes, and below.
