Snapchat

Now I don’t have Snap but lately I have been hearing “maaaaan I can’t stand this new update” when it comes to the Snap.

Snapchat Says It’s Time For Users To Get Over the Update – Blogged by: @RaquelHarrisTV ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We haven’t seen an update like this from #Snapchat in almost three years and even though users hate it, Snapchat is pretty much telling users, “You’ll be aight.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The update you all are now using is version 10.25, and ironically, it was created to make the platform easier for you to manage. The update also focused on separating “media content” from that of “friends,” in addition to other changes to the interface. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But for the last week or so, Snapchatters haven’t been too happy with it, as most say the layout is confusing and cluttered. One of the biggest complaints is that people are having trouble finding and viewing their friends’ stories. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Users despise the update so much that 600,000 people have signed a petition on Change.org to “Remove the new Snapchat update.” Some of the petition reads, “Many ‘new features’ are useless or defeats [sic] the original purposes Snapchat has had for the past years.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Unfortunately, Snapchat won’t be going back to their previous version. “Updates as big as this one can take a little getting used to, but we hope the community will enjoy it once they settle in,” said a Snapchat spokeswoman.
