LaVar Ball Announces Tryouts For New Junior Basketball Association League: “The Selection Committee Is Unreal. Choosing 8 Players From 8 Cities” – blogged by @worldwidekeege ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ LaVar Ball was put on the chopping block not too long ago for rumors that his Junior Basketball Association league wasn’t real, but it seems like everyone who thought his demise was coming is now looking silly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ball took to Twitter to announce that the tryouts for his new basketball league will begin in April. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The JBA league will be selected by premiere judges like Earl Watson, Ed O’Bannon, and of course Lonzo Ball, as well.  According to Slam Magazine, the tryouts will start April 7th, choosing 8 players from 8 cities across the United States.  The first city will be Seattle, then on to Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago. Players between the ages of 17 and 19 are eligible to try out for the league.  If they win their championship game, they will also be awarded luxury cars. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If Ball pulls off this new league, this will be a rude awakening for the NCAA, as it will be their competition, and the NBA, who had rumored to be starting the same thing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Tag someone that you think needs to try out for the #JBA league!
