Oklahoma City Thunder v Miami Heat

Kevin Durant is from the school of NBA players that likes to have fun when they’re not battling it out on the court. Let’s not forget that this is the same guy that was exposed for making a fake Twitter account to defend himself against social media haters.

And just like most young athletes, KD sure loves to dance.

The Golden State warrior turns 30 years old today and is probably somewhere getting down as we speak. After expressing how he felt about fans having pure hate for him for leaving Oklahoma City Thunder to the Golden State Warriors — KD deserves a little dance break. He explained to 95.7 The Game that to even get considered a contender for Defensive Player of the Year, he has to be far and away better than everyone else, saying:

“You know they’re not gonna give me anything. Even if it’s on the fence, I have to be clear-cut better than everybody for me to even get a look. It’s just pure hate for me obviously and no appreciation for my real skill for the game. But I get it. I understand where we coming from.”

He added, “I understand what we have here in this building that scares everybody. But for me, I was just proud of the growth that I had in that area, where I just wanted to be able to be relied on to guard anybody. You know, accolades, that stuff is long gone for me unless it’s like Finals or something like that where it’s probably pretty even. But regular season awards, I’m never gonna get a look when it comes to that, especially playing here for the Warriors

Despite his sarcastic and emo response to the way people feel about him, Durant always seems to be having a great time before the games.

Maybe he can hit up his NBA Finals nemesis Lebron James to give him some pointers. Everyone knows Bron loves to dance.

Young Lonzo Ball likes to buss a move every now and then, too.

Athletes and dancing go hand to hand like rappers and their jewelry. Hit the flip to see some of the best athletes dancing moments.
