Tory Lanez has been a bit quiet in these internet streets lately. Maybe that’s for the best, as seemingly every time he makes any noise there’s a tinge of controversy that comes with it. For better or for worse.

This is another one of those times.

Tory dropped his new single Cap today. With staunch bars over a bass-heavy beat, the Toronto emcee seemingly goes in on Megan Thee Stallion and her boyfriend Pardison Fontaine, while alluding to the infamous night that Meg was allegedly shot in the foot.

“He a bird, he prolly in a ex four/ Plus the only party that we know is next door”

While the shots at Meg and Pardi are a little less subtle, some fans want to know if Tory was also spewing fire at Cardi B and Offset.

At the 1:44 mark, Tory raps “The cases, the migo, that sh*t right where I’m at / He would say something back, but he need Cardi B for that”. Some fans take this as a diss, but Tory explained last night that that wasn’t the case.

Some surmise that Tory was suggesting that Meg and Pardison Fontaine – who have both collaborated with Cardi in the past – need help from the Bronx rapstress to have hit records. Others could claim that Tory is being funny and taking shots, which he tried to put to bed by dropping that tweet after the song leaked prematurely.

What do you think about Tory’s new record Cap?
