Pete Davidson is no longer with the games.

Kanye West has been wild’n in them internet streets for weeks, and Pete Davidson, a Saturday Night Live cast member, comedian, and Kanye’s soon-to-be-ex-wife’s new boyfriend, has had enough. Pete shared some super strong words for the Chicago emcee this past Sunday, but more on that in just a sec.

If you aren’t aware, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are currently going through the proceedings to officially divorce. The initial request was filed back in January, though Kim was finally declared ‘legally single’ by a California judge in early March. Kanye, based on his reactions on Instagram, doesn’t seem to be on board.

After the blogs made Kim and Pete Davidson’s relationship public Kanye seemed to unravel. He’s repeatedly shared private messages between him and his ex, and has taken aim at Pete through malicious IG posts as well. Davidson, who isn’t on social media, has largely remained quiet.

Until this past weekend.

After another barrage of early morning cyber attacks, Davidson utilized his friend’s account to share a message that he’d just sent to Ye.

“Yo it’s Skete. Can you please take a second and calm down? It’s 8 AM and it don’t gotta be like this. Kim is literally the best mother I’ve ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f*cking lucky that she’s your kid’s mom.”

Say it witcha chest, Petey!

But wait, there’s more.

Kanye’s response is a bit subdued. “Oh you using profanity. Where are you right now?”

Davidson: “In bed with your wife.”

Whew. I imagine that would be a tough pill for Ye to swallow. Especially on a Sunday!

Listen, I’m all for Ye being protective of his kids and the home of which they’ll be spending most of their time. But I’m also a little sad that one of our iconic hip-hop heroes is embroiled in such a… mess. A mess he largely created, no doubt. But a mess nonetheless.

It’s also a bit ironic that Ye’s position, at least initially, is that he isn’t pleased that his daughter North is on Tik Tok. His feeling is that she isn’t old enough to be on social media yet, and that the consequences of exposing her to that world could be detrimental.

Maybe he should start considering his own actions on social media. If he wants to set a good example for his children there’s probably a less messy way of handling these beefs with their mother.
