The ladies of LSU’s 2023 NCAA National Champion team have been making an impact on and off the court! From winning it big with their first ever national championship title (defeating Iowa 102 to 85) — to some of their players giving back in major ways where they’re from!
For starters, Flau’Jae Johnson recently gave back donating $10,000.00 to the Boys & Girls Club where she’s from in Savannah GA! And then you have her teammate Angel Reese sending up a donation of her own — $12,000.00 to her old high school, Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore MD! This donation will cover one years worth of tuition for the current women’s basketball team — something Angel can speak to fluently as this is the same fund that helped with her tuition while she attended the school!
Generational love for sure and something these ladies can be proud of!
