Singer Bobbi Storm pulled through the Z1079 studio and sat down with our very own Micah Dixon!
The two discussed everything. Including Bobbi Storm’s humble beginnings in music, what she has coming up next, and her viral Delta Airlines moment!
“When the pandemic hit, God said I need you to know me more now than you’ve ever known me before. Because where I’m going to take you when this world opens back up, you’re going to need me as a shield,” Bobbi replied when asked about her music journey. “You’re going to need me as a firm foundation. So on that spiritual journey, I was battling because in order to strengthen my spirit. I couldn’t watch the same stuff on TV. I couldn’t have the same conversations. I couldn’t listen to the same music. And I’m like, but I grew up listening to this type of stuff. Jeezy, all of that, you know what I’m saying? So it was like. Do I really have to change? And God is like, no, you don’t have to change. You just have to convert it for me because when anybody would have a conversation with you it wouldn’t be more than two minutes without you mentioning me. So what makes you think you could have me on things and not in everything?”
“And God is like, no, you don’t have to chance. You just have to convert it for me because when anybody would have a conversation with you, it wouldn’t be more than two minutes without mentioning me.”
