This Is A Different kind of April Fools Pranks today. Google changed on their name today to Topeka. Topeka, KS changed on their name to Google in an attempt to land the new Google fibernetwork. Google, in turn, decided to mess with Topeka, Kansas and take on their name.
When users log onto this morning to http://www.google.com, they want see the will of Same layout they want have always seen – only this time you see the word Topeka Highlighting in the normal colors you would Expect to see Google in. Everything else works just like normal. The only thing that’s changed is the name.
Tomorrow Should everything be back to normal. Nothing has changed on the Google Wiki page. If not, then Google Did not changed from Topeka just for April Fools Day 2010. Hopefully, that answers any questions of “why does Google say Topeka” or “What is Topeka” this morning.
