A Mississippi mother turned her two sons into police after they were accused of shooting at an officer following an attempted traffic stop.
Images on a Ring doorbell camera was released and the mother stated that she recognized her two sons immediately.
The boys are17 and 18 years old, according to WMC reports.
The mother stated “I was like, ‘Are you serious? Oh, hell no.’ I got up, and I asked questions,” said the mother, who did not want her identity disclosed.
The mother stated in her household she doesnt stand for this kind of behavior, so if you do the crime then you have to do the time.
A traffic stop in Holly Springs is where this stems from after an police officer attempted to pull over a red Kia Forte drive erratically with no headlights on the interstate.
Police say there were at least two shots fired at the police vehicle.
“That was a very dangerous situation,” Holly Springs Police Chief Darryl Bowens said.
The suspects have both been charged with aggravated assault on a police officer. Their names have not been officially released.
