Recreational marijuana is now legal in Ohio. Tuesday was the first day that dual-licensed dispensaries could legally sell weed for recreational users. Keep scrolling to check out the list.

Across the state, nearly 100 dispensaries are now operating for medical and recreational users. 55% of Ohio voters green-lit Issue 2, which last November stood for legalizing pot in our corner of the Midwest.

Many are wondering, however, when even more, full recreational marijuana dispensaries will open. According to reports, we’ll see even more dispensaries opening over the “coming months and years”.

After years of it flowing to neighboring states like Michigan and Virginia, Ohio hopes to finally keep some of the marijuana tax money in the state. So be prepared to pay a 10% tax on any marijuana purchases you make in Ohio dispensaries.

Across Northeast Ohio, there are more than 20 open dual-use marijuana dispensaries. 12 of them are in Cuyahoga County.
