Jacquees Dishes On Being A New Father, His Brand New Album & More

Z1079’s own The Day Party sat down with R&B king Jacquees!

In an exclusive interview with Z1079, Jacquees spoke candidly about being a new dad. He spoke about the love he has for his son and how much joy being a father brings him.

“It feels good,” Jacquees commented. “I got a lot going on. I’m a new father. It’s super, super lit, too.”

Ro Digga took time to share how long she’s been a fan of Jacquees, and even admitted that one of her prized possesions may or may not be named after the singer from Decatur!

The conversation kicked up a notch when Ro and Ryan focused on Jacquees’ latest album Baby Making. Ro Digga, a lifelong fan, told him just how much she enjoyed his music, and how she appreciated his ability to deliver on any record he’s on.

When Ro asked what song on Baby Making she should listen to first, Jacquees didn’t hesitate. “I’ma just tell you to press play. Like, you got to go one to ten.”

“By what track is the baby gonna be made?”, asked Ryan Wolf.

“It ain’t gon’ take nothin but a couple seconds for that baby to be made!” Jacquees replied.

When Ro and Ryan pushed for information on upcoming collaborations, Jacquees shared that he and Lil Wayne have a song together. He also shed light on an upcoming project that he’s working on with longtime collaborator Dej Loaf.
